mc returned us our situational writing today and i got only 13/15.
I did not reach the target :( The target was 15/15.

Congratz, Jun Ting, she's the only one who got full marks in the class.

I realised that the class was very weak in getting the 6 content marks as only 4/42 people in the class got 6 marks for content. The class needs to pull up their socks!

mc taught us how to hunt for the 6 content marks and how we can check and the process of thinking.

I learnt that:

- When we are informing someone, the language should be in present tense exept for some minor info which needs past tense.

- When we are finished, we have to check our work. How? If we check others work, we will spot the mistake very fast but when we are checking ur own work, we cannot see where are our mistakes. So, we must put ourselves in other's shoes to check so that we can spot mistakes easily.

- When there are 6 content marks, we must only have 6 points and not 5 or 7 points.

- We should not use too many compound sentences as some have the "and" danger which will cause us to lose marks.

- We cannot use "I feel" there should be a feeling. I feel what? eg. I feel excited, etc.

We also learnt some others too. I've learnt alot about situational writing today.
