Lost days, pictures fade.
teachers' day
Thursday, August 28, 2008

Today, we had the Teachers' Day Celebration. It was acctually to be held tomorrow but there's E-learning so, it was held today.

Firstly, we had the inter-class games. The Kampong Cricket. It was raining then, so, instead of going to the quardrangle, we went to the gymnasium.

I was really unlucky to be chosen to participate in the game as most of the times in practices, i'll fail to hit the ball. I was very glad to have Candy in my team.

When the game started, i was a l'll nervous. I managed to hit the ball in the second try but only scored one "donut" and was quite happy. Afterall, it was better than nothing.

However, in the end, 6B lost. So, all of us stayed to watch the game till the finals.

Finally, we watched the Teachers' Day performance. The most outstanding thing was the big black sheet of material with lots of glinting paper stars. Every teacher's photo will be pasted on one star each. It was really special.

After the concert, everyone went back to their classes. After a skipping rope challenge participated by the 6A and 6B pupils, we went to 6A classroom to watch a short clip created by a group of 6A pupils. We then gave presents to our beloved teachers, MS and MC.

Lastly, a very HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY to all my beloved teachers :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ZIMINH :)

My PRELIMS Reflection
(from LEAD)

I was disapointed upon knowing my results for Maths and Science. However, i was happy to know that i have made improvement for Science but, there was still room for improvement. I am happy that I got an A for my English (total) and Mother Tongue (paper) languages. But, on the other hand, i still need to improve on them.

For my English paper, if i had revised some of Ms Chia's resources, i would be able to secure some marks. Regrets. The previous two days, i had been doing my past year's synthesis as revision and i was glad i did it as i had realised some important points when we attempt the question. Some questions came out on the paper too. All i did was to revise my synthesis as well as comprehension but not others..

Moving on, i was satisfied for my English compo marks but, there was still lots of improvement that can be made. Acctually, i did not really study for it except for reading some resources. However, i think i got the marks as the question that i chose was one that i have read and plot out before. I think thats the reason why it was not too difficult. But, i need to improve on my compo as perhaps, the same thing would not happen again.

For my Maths, i made careless mistakes. Acctually, there was one question that i knew how to do but i was not very sure about my method and i left it only attempted but with no answer. When i knew that my method was acctually correct, i regreted that i did not even wrote it down.. There was one question i left unattended not due to not enough time but, did not know how to do. What i did right was to revise what i have done in my Maths file as some questions came out. Wheras, what i did wrong was to sleep late the previous night to do some revision.

For Mother Tongue, the reason that i get an A for my paper was due to the marks i got for my comprehension. Acctually, i did not study for MT except reading a book on meanings of words in the textbook.

For Science, i did lots of revision so as to get at least an A. However, i did not made it but at least improved as my Science was not very good acctually.

For English, i would do more assesment books as well as to do the writing buisness Ms Chia told us to and also read the resources.

For Maths, i would also do assesment books and be more serious during my tuition.

For MT, i would go and buy one assesment book to do as i don't have any at home.

For Science, i would also do assesment books and maybe, i will sign up for tuition classes and also do the SKETCH book.

I'll have to work even harder for PSLE. Hope I'll make it :)

Signing off,
Joanne :)

Today, GaoShei came to the B and C class. Some of my classmates and me went to see him. And "somebody" asked g.s something which i think was not the appropriate time to ask. It was like.. (undescribable).

I think almost all of us were very happy to see him again, especially his friends. His mother gave both classes some goodies and after a while, he went elsewhere (in the school) to study.

Then, my class went to the computer lab to do the NE quiz which we may win $20 book voucher.

Today, there was Science PRELIM paper. The MCQ was hard. Overall, i think that the paper is difficult.

After the paper, almost all of us were asking one another what you put for
this and that (as per-normal) . I also did the same and listened to some others' answers and what they said actually made sense; my marks were flying away.

I am very sure that i will get very very low..

haiz..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today, when i came back from school, i saw GaoShei at my void deck, also his void deck. When he saw me, he said hi and waved to me. He is still the same, one word, funny. I haven't heard his voice for a long time and was happy to see him and hear it once again. He was wearing homeclothes at that time and he looked thinner than before in his wheelchair.

I was really glad to see him and i was told by Hazel that he would come to their class tomorrow. I hope that he would also come to our class :)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After my brother and me came home, we got ready to watch Money No Enough at Tampines with Hazel and her sister. We met at the MRT and set off to buy the tickets first and then, eat at Century Square.

My brother and me shared a bowl of beef noodles (recommended by them) and it was yummy (quite). Whearas, the two sisters had pasta each. The pasta was very nice.

When it was about 3+, all of us had ate finish except for Hazel. There was sauce from my beef noodle and soup that came together. She took the sauce and the soup and put into her remaining pasta that it turned brown. YUCK! But, she said it was delicious this way. Then, she ate it and my brother said that she might have diarrhea (dunno how to spell) .

p.s when Hazel went home, she really had diarrhea. hahas :)

Then, we went to buy fries from Macdonalds and bought 2 bottles of plain water. There was a few minutes left before 4pm, so we went to the arcade to play for a while and it was so fun playing the one that we must shoot the basketballs.

We went into the cinema and of course, watch the movie. At the start, there was advertisment (as per-normal) and Hazel timed it and it acctually took up 20 minutes and more of our time. There was a man sitting at the other side and he acctually bought a big hamburger there to eat. It looked so yummy. Wonder where he bought it from..

The movie was..
-Funny
-A little Touching
-Quite Worth to watch

The mother of the 3 sons was so poor thing. She was kicked here and there by her children. The sad parts was parts related to the mother. Some people in the cinema cried. We too except for my emotionless brother. lol.

After the show, we went to meet my mother who was shopping for the past few hours with my sister. She treated each of us to Macdonalds ice-cream. Then, we went home.

What a fun day :)

Date:20/08/08

Today, there was Mother Tongue PRELIM paper II. The MCQ was quite difficult but the 1st comprehension was not very hard as the passage was quite long compared to the 2nd one.

I did not really study but read the ci yu shou ce (the book with meanings of words learnt from textbook).

The 1st comprehension story was full of information for the questions but the 2nd was not very.

Overall, i think that it was not so difficult but easier than the past MOCKS.

I think that i would get about 60-70+ as my marks were all along somewhere around there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tomorrow, there will be Science PRELIMS paper and i am so nervous. I've just revised all the HOT Science as well as COLD Science (just kidding).

I am sure that i will get 65 and below or even FAIL (there's a possibility) .

*sigh*

Date: 19/08/08

Today, there was Mathematics PRELIM paper.

It was quite difficult and i did not do some questions; not due to time problem, but don't know how to solve.

There was one question about red and black marbles. I found out that 5% was equal to 7 but i thought it was wrong as it cannot be divided by 5..
I was not sure and did not attempt. I only wrote 5% equals to 7 but i forgot if i had cancel it. If i didn't, maybe, i would get method marks. I did not know why i gave up so fast, perhaps, i was too tired as i slept late last night. *sigh*

When it was recess, i asked some of my friends and they said that 5% was equal to 7 and there was a no need to find 1% equals to what. Haiz.. wasted.

Marks gone..

Date:18/08/08

Today, there was English PRELIM paper II. I would not say that it is very hard but maybe, hard.

There were some questions i was unsure of, like..

Synthesis- Unless
I put washes but i do not know if it is correct but the word beside it is singular.

MCQ- Glass
My answer was smithereens. Acctually i wanted to put pieces but i remembered hearing someone say "glass--- use smithereens".

Comprehension- Season
I wrote "snowing season". Grr.. There was no such thing as that but was acctually Spring! haiz.. wasted. The answer was Winter and i acctually wanted to write that but i didn't.. It's too late now..

When i came back, i asked my mother about a question in
MCQ- i saw your sister_____into the library just now. (should be..)

I chose my answer as "went" and i was WRONG!
She said that "saw" was a special word and the answer should be a present-tense plural.

I don't think i would score well for English..

Date:15/08/08

Today, i had English oral. It was in the morning and i was quite nervous.

My two testers were ladies and they look wierd (no offence). One of them talked to me while the other did not and looked fierce. But after all, we shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

For reading, there was dialogues in the passage but i read it with not much expression. I cannot figure out what type of expression to use..

It was a teacher telling her students what she had planned-----.

For the picture, it was COLOURED. I did make use of the colours and used them to describe the scene but forgotten to describe the place! Grrr...

I practised hard using "furthermore, moving on, etc." but didn't even use; a few only. Wonder why..

My efforts had been wasted. But, its too late now; only to blame myself..

For conversation, i do not think that i did well. The conversation was not very "friendly". The topic was CCA.

When it was over, i went to the holding room and did my homework. Then, i went straight home.

i'll post some past-happenings today :)

HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY, CATHERINE :]

Thursday, August 14, 2008

This morning, i met up with Hazel at seven-eleven so that we would be able to walk to school together.

My mum brought me to meet her and after that, the three of us went to eat breakfast at Old Chang Kee Take 5!

Then, after a light (maybe) breakfast of beehoon and beng kueh, we headed for the place for "execution"; meaning the school.

lols.

When we stepped into the canteen, there was already quite many people. Both of us went to our respective groups/tables. At my table, everyone was studying for the oral except Darren Ong. I was later told that it was his form of doing so as not to get too tensed up (like some others, they read magazines, so on..)

Almost all of us were like studying "together" by asking one another what's the meaning of the word and how to say it in chinese. I think that we were the most irratating? group as it seems like we're the only group which kept pestering teachers just wanting to ask meanings, words, etc. that the whole group doesn't know/not sure.

But i think that it was good doing that so that we can be more prepared but it will make you more stress up when you are unsure of something but its better than nothing :)

Then, it was time to go to the waiting room. When the first person went to take the oral, it was time almost everyone starts to get butterflies in their stomaches. At that time, i really agreed to what MC said. She said "The more longer you wait, the more tense you are." (i think so..)

WAITING IS REALLY A *TORTURE MANN! (today and for sure tomorrow)
*i mean the torture is make you even more scared.

My group's order was..
[#01]Zhi Peng
[#02]Jabby
[#03]Hui Yi
[#04]Xin Yun
[#05]Dao Hui
[#06]Yi Jane
[#07]me
[#08]Yu Kee
[#09]Darren Ong
[#10]Ryan
[#11]Shane
[#12]Jia Xuan.

When i got to know the order, i was thinking like "Heng arh.. i no. 7." But acctually, my turn came quite fast.

When Yi Jane went for the oral, Yu Kee and me were really very scared till we felt that our hearts was doing the same thing. Pounding very fast that we can feel it strongly. I tried to smile while talking to others and also grab the chance when there's something funny so that there would be a chance for me to laugh so that i would not be so scared.

When i saw the reading passage and picture, i practise with no fear as Mrs Goh was sitting in front of me and not... When i was practising, i can hear Yi Jane talking loudly and i was wondering if i should talk as loud as her.

When 5 minutes was up, i sat on a chair waiting for my turn. I was able to practise the picture 2-3 times as Yi Jane have not finish.

Then, it was my turn and the two teachers gestured me to enter the classroom. I was not even scared at that time. So wierd..

They are both ladies and looked quite old and i was thinking "huh.. sure is old fashion der.." however, it turned out quite well.

I did what i was told (greet the teachers, say my name and index no.) but something happened. At that time, i forgot my index no.! But acctually, i memorised it already and it was quite hard as we needed to say it in chinese but i just suddenly forgot it!..

This was how it goes..
*greeted, said my name*

tester: whats your index no. ?
me: umm.. 1..4..6..
tester: no.. is 3..
me: 67
tester: ok, you may take a seat.
(in chinese, of course)

I really paniced at that time but luckily the teacher helped me. Then, i started to read and speak about the picture. There was a word which i did not know and i skipped it and it was so obvious.

While talking about the picture, the teachers did not prompt me and i wonder is that good or bad. When it was the part to say the conversation, i said one and acctually i wanted to say another one but the tester said "I only asked you for the part which "attracted" you the MOST."

She said it in a way like almost all the pupils before me did the same (wanted to speak about another scenario).

I was fuming mad why they don't let me say another one as my mt teacher said that we can say two so that we can get higher marks. I asked some people and saw some people's post on their blogs about it and they were also only allowed to say one. Furthermore, i also said two during my oral prelim. I chose the child giving his sit to the old lady scenario and really regretted saying that first as another one that i had chose had more to talk about.

Now, i was still wondering why we only can say one. Is it because they are afraid that there will be no more time or maybe this "rule" started this year as our mt teacher still said we can say two or..?

haiz..

Anyway, good luck all for tomorrow's oral :)

GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR PSLE ORALs TOMORROW!

don't be too scared. (if you are and i would too..)
take in deep breadths.

hope you will achieve good results :)

jiayousjiayous all,
Joanne.

YAY :)

I've finally finish all my school homework.
What about you?

I've just finish up all the oral speeches.
Please comment :)

*yawns*

Believe it or not, its 3:42 AM now..
You MIGHT be wondering why i do until so late.
Its because in the day time my brother wont let me use the computer and even if he will, he gives me so little time then he snatch the computer away..

sad...

bye and good morning :)

lol

Oral-birthday party

Introduction
This picture depicts a scene at a birthday party. It seemed that it was held in a classroom as there were many children that were clad in their school uniforms. A sentence “Happy Birthday Miss KOH” was written on the white board.

Scenario1 [normal]
A lady ,who is Miss Koh, is blowing out the candles on the yummy looking birthday cake placed on her table. Both sides beside the birthday cake was presents that were wrapped beautifully with colourful wrappers by her students. Her students were clapping their hands with smiles on their faces upon watching their teacher blow out the candles.

It is good that the teacher allowed her birthday party to be held in school so that all her students can enjoy the day with her. Also, I think that there will definitely have activities and games too.

This party can help bring the students’ and teacher’s relationship closer. Furthermore, some students might automatically confide in her when there are problems in their lives and treat her not just as a teacher but also a good friend after this party.

Scenario 2 [cause & effect]
One of Miss Koh’s students was helping herself to a cup of soft drinks first, without waiting for others. Perhaps, she might be very thirsty. She was pouring the soft drink into her cup but it some of the soft drink from the bottle spilled onto the floor and she looked worried.

I suggest that she should clean up the mess immediately as someone might just slip and fall or groups of ants will soon be attracted to it. We should not be too greedy as it would not be nice to start off first without your friends or classmates.

Conclusion
To conclude, teachers should celebrate their birthday with their students or perhaps, the other way round too so as to foster their relationship and let everyone have a memorable day.

Oral-hawker centre

Introduction
This picture depicts a scene at a hawker centre. It is pack with many people. Perhaps, it is lunch time on a public holiday. The hawker centre has stalls selling food of the different types of races. It is good to eat there as we can have a taste of food of other races.

Scenario 1 [cause & effect]
A man who was holding on to a tray of drinks tripped on a banana skin and was falling downwards. The water in one of the cup spilled out and so did the ice. The lady, who might be the one who ordered the drinks, looked shocked as the water from the cup was about to splash onto her.

I think that she will be fuming mad if her clothes got soiled and was about to meet someone. It will be very embarrassing for her to let the person she I meeting with to see her in this state.

Moving on, the person who littered the floor with the banana skin was very inconsiderate as he did not spare a thought for others. The banana skin caused the man to be injured and also caused extra work to do for the cleaners as they have to mop up the sweet drink on the floor or else someone may slip and fall and also, it may attract a group of ants.

Scenario 2 [cause & effect]
At the prawn noodles stall, many houseflies were flying around it. The stall owner who was wearing a dirty apron, looked unhygienic. I think that the houseflies were not attracted by the noodles but was by the apron that he was wearing. The whole picture of the stall area looked so unhygienic. As a result, no customers would come to buy from that stall. He looked unhappy as there was no business.

Furthermore, I suggests that the stall owner should have practice proper hygiene as the problem may not be that the food was not up to standard but was the unhygienic appearance he had. Appearance is very important to one who does the cooking as if the cook looks dirty, it will let the customers think that the food would not be safe to eat.

Scenario 3 [normal]
A family of three is having lunch together. They are eating a plate of rice and vegetables each and are sharing a bowl of hot soup. The three of them are eating happily with smiles on their faces.

It is good that the parents take their child out to spend time with him as nowadays, parents neglect their children just because of work. It is good for them to eat outside rather than to eat at home so they can also shop around. It is alright for us to eat out but we should not do that too many times as some food that are cooked outside are not so clean and they add more MSG compared to home cooked food. Hence, home cooked food is healthier.

In addition, the whole family eating together is a good time to foster their relationship and is also the bonding time between parent and child. Chatting also helps to foster relationship and bring the whole family even closer.

Scenario 4 [cause & effect]
At the chicken rice stall, a lady with long silky hair is ordering a plate of chicken rice. The stall owner was using a knife to cut the chicken but he did not put on any disposable gloves.

I suggest that he should buy some and put them on so that it would be more hygienic and it will be safer for his customers to eat the chicken rice. If he continues doing this, maybe one of his customers will get food poisoning after consuming the chicken rice as when there are no gloves being put on, the stall owner will use the same hand to cut , touch the chicken and take the money. Money is actually very dirty as it passes on to one another in the country and many types of people have touched it and who knows, maybe one of the people in the cycle found the money on the toilet bowl and was greedy and took it to buy something.

Conclusion
To conclude, we should not always eat outside food and it is our responsibility to keep public places clean and we must always spare a thought for others. We must also have proper hygiene if not, we may fall sick easily.

Oral-fitness corner

Introduction
This picture depicts a scene at Yu Yang Primary School’s fitness corner. There are some students playing there. Perhaps, it is recess time and they seemed to be enjoying their time there.

Scenario 1 [wrong & consequence]
Two boys were kicking a ball to each other. They seemed to be enjoying their game as they were smiling away. Perhaps, they are best buddies. Personally, I think that it is not a very good place for them to play the ball here as it might hit others and cause accidents to happen.

I suggest that they can play at the field as most probably, most of the students having a game of soccer will be playing there. Furthermore, if they play at the field, they may get to play with the rest of their schoolmates and eventually, they make new friends of different races.

In addition, I think that they should wear a watch so that they would be able to keep track of the time and end the game a few minutes before the time when the recess ends. Thus, that they would have time to clean themselves up, take a drink and also relieve themselves.

Scenario 2 [cause & effect]
A girl with two little cute ponytails fell off the monkey bar and landed on the ground. She seemed to be in excruciating pain as she was wailing loudly. Fresh red blood was oozing out from the wound on her elbow. Perhaps, there was a small sharp object on the ground which caused the wound on her elbow as when such incidents happen, most of us would get a minor cut and would not bleed as much as she does.

A boy who was still clutching on the monkey bar looks shocked upon seeing the incident. Perhaps, he will immediately stop playing on the monkey bar as he might be afraid that he will land in the same state as his schoolmate who just fell down. Also, the both of them might have phobia of playing the monkey bar in future.

A boy who was older then them rushed to help the girl. Personally, I think that he should carry her up and bring her to the general office for help. I applaud for the boy’s helpful behaviour and he is also practicing the value, empathy. Some other people might just saw the incident and walk away as if it was nobody’s business. The boy was a good role model for everyone to emulate.

Conclusion
To conclude, all of us should not skip meals just for the sake of playing as we might not have enough energy and may faint or even get gastric if we continue to skip meals for a period of time. Most importantly, we must all watch out for our own safety as safety always comes first.

Oral-stairway

Introduction
This picture depicts a scene at a stairway. It seemed to be in a school as there were students who are clad in their school uniform. The staircase is created for people of all ages and it is god for us physically as climbing up the stairs is also a good form of exercise as it exercises our legs and strengthens them. It is also dangerous as one might trip over a step and roll down the stairs.

Scenario1 [cause & effect]
A lady who may be a teacher, was carrying a pile of books was walking down the stairs slowly. Perhaps, she was unable to see in front as the books blocked her view. By doing this, she is endangering her live and also the lives of others as if she falls, she may knock down another person in front of her. Personally, I think that she should ask her students for a helping hand or take the lift.

A mischievous boy who ran down the stairs at the speed of light bumped into her, causing her to almost lose her balance and her books tumbled and fell down the stairs. From her expression, I can infer that she panicked. Luckily, two helpful children saw the incident and immediately pick up the books for her.

A man who is holding on to a hot beverage saw the boy who was running and was worried. He immediately raised out his hand and gestured him to stop. Personally, I think that he will be able to stop in time.

Personally, I think that the boy should not rush down the stairs as he may cause others to get injures. On the other hand, he might also injure himself. Furthermore, another reason was that he might bump into people holding hot beverages as it will spill and cause the person holding it to get scalded.

In my opinion, one of the teachers should take him to the staff room and teach him a lesson and also explain why this was a dangerous act and also tell him the consequences he might face.

Conclusion
To conclude, everyone should not run down the stairs even when there is nobody. We should spare a thought for others and also ourselves.

Oral-library

Introduction
This picture depicts a scene at the library of Fu Ling Primary School. There were not many students there. Perhaps, it is after school now and most of them headed straight home. A library is a resourceful place to find information for our homework, project, etc.

Scenario 1 [wrong & consequence]
A boy who is holding a book in his hands was tearing out the pages in it. In other words, he is damaging the property of the library. A staff in the library saw it and was fuming with rage. She scolded him and was pointing to the book at the same time.

Moving on, the boy should not do this as maybe, some other students have been waiting for a long time for this book or maybe, this was a very expensive book and was limited to one book per school. If that’s the case, he will not be able to compensate for it.

Scenario 2 [wrong & consequence]
A boy who was carrying a sling bag was taking one of the books on the shelf and was slipping it into his bag. It was wrong of him to do this.

He can actually borrow it instead of stealing it. If he continues stealing, it will lead to many problems in life in future. He might even be sent to the boys home or when he is older, to jail.

Scenario 3 [normal]
The librarian who was sitting at the counter was starring in the air. She seemed to be thinking about something or maybe she was daydreaming. Personally, I think that she should walk around the library to see if anything is happening or books were wrongly placed rather then to sit there in daze.

Scenario 4 [normal]
A boy and a girl are finding their books quietly and not doing any nasty things to the books. I think they are good role-models for the boy who tore the book and the boy who stole the book to emulate and so as others.

Conclude
To conclude, a library is a place with lots of information and it is very important for our studies as some information are not in textbooks. We must behave ourselves in the library and also maintain the noise level so that other readers in the library will be able to concentrate.

Oral- beach

Introduction
This picture depicts a scene at the sandy beach. There are many people there perhaps, it is a public holiday. The weather seems breezy and people of all ages were occupied with something to do.

Scenario 1 [normal]
A woman and a boy are swimming happily in the deep blue sea. Perhaps, they are mother and son. The boy was smiling merrily and so as his mother. Personally, I think that the mother was delighted to see her son enjoying his swim as the saying goes, Mothers always wants the best for their children.

It is good for the mother to take time out to spend with her son as nowadays, people neglect their children just because of work.

Scenario 2 [wrong & consequence]
Two boys are playing a hard ball on the sand with smiles on their faces perhaps, they are friends. One of them kicked the ball with too much strength that his friend was unable to catch it. It flew past him and was about to hit an old man who was reading a book while leaning on a tree. From the old man’s expression on his face, I can see that he was shocked to see a ball which was going to hit him.

It was a dangerous scene as if the old man have not enough time to dodge it, the consequences will be terrible. He may suffer from serious head injury or even more worse, he might have a concussion. The two boys should rush up and apologize to him and hopefully, they had learned a lesson and be extra careful in future.

I suggest that the two boys should not play the ball in an area where there are many people as accidents would happen. They should play at a place which is not a hot spot so as to reduce the chances of accidents happening. Furthermore, if they want to play here, they should at least play with a soft ball rather than a hard one so that even when it hits someone, it will not cause serious injuries.

Scenario 3 [normal]
Two boys are sitting on a mat under a big beach umbrella. Their bags were beside them and they were holding a storybook each in their hands. From the expression on their faces, I can see that they are very engrossed in the book and probably, they loved to read.

Having a big beach umbrella is good as when they read, their eyes would not need to suffer from the glaring sun rays and it will also reduce the chances of getting sweaty and sunburns.

Some books have many information and by reading them, we benefit it as we will gain new knowledge. We can also be able to infer to things like natural disasters even if we never been in or saw it and talk about them.

Reading at a beach is fantastic as we get to enjoy the cool breeze and the sound of the calming waves without any disturbance.

Scenario 4 [cause & effect]
A boy who has fallen off the bike has injured his elbows and knees. He seemed to be in excruciating pain as he was wailing loudly. Perhaps, he is learning how to ride a bicycle. A lady who may be the boy’s mother, rushed to help him up. From her expression, I can see that her heart sank upon seeing her son crying in pain.

Personally, I think the boy should get up on his feet and continue learning to ride a bicycle. He should be resilience and overcome all obstacles in his way so that he can succeed.

Scenario 5 [normal]
A family of four is sitting on a mat having a picnic. A wide spread of delicious food was prepared and smiles were hanging on their faces. The boy, who is the son of the family, is munching on a sandwich while his sister is sipping a cup of beverage from a straw. From the hand gestures made by the two kid’s mother, I can infer that she is talking away.

Having picnics with family members is a good time to foster their relationship and also is the bonding time between parent and child. Chatting also helps to foster relationship and bring the whole family closer.

Conclusion
Spending time at the beach can be very fun as we can do many things there. The fresh air there also helps to rejuvenate our brains. Coming out of the house is better then to be cooped up at home.

Oral-Cinema

Introduction
This picture depicts a scene at a cinema. Perhaps, it is a public holiday as there are many people there. A cinema is a good place to go to watch a movie as we can relax and enjoy the movie peacefully as it would be quiet in the movie theatre.

Scenario 1 [normal]
A lady standing at one side who is carrying a handbag is looking at the time on her watch. She seems very angry perhaps, the person who she is meeting was late. Whereas, a man clad in a vertical striped shirt that is standing right beside her, is waiting patiently for someone.

Personally, I think that the lady should wait patiently like the man beside her as when one is impatient, he or she would also be angry at the same time which is bad for health. If the movie has already started, I suggest she may go in the movie theatre to wait. In addition, she may want to call or send a message to her friend or relative to know how things are going on at his side as maybe he is in a traffic jam or maybe he has an urgent matter to see to.

On the other hand, the person who she is waiting for is also at wrong. Time is precious to some people and if he cannot make it or something had happened, he should at least make the effort to tell her. Being on time is one’s responsibility.

Scenario 2 [cause & effect]
At the ticket counter, there were four patient adults queuing up in line to purchase their movie tickets. They looked disappointed as the counter was closed. Probably, the tickets have been sold out. They seemed to be queuing for a long time and one man in the queue was putting his both hands on his hips. He seemed to be angry and frustrated.

Personally, I think that the cinema should know that more people will come to watch movies on public holidays and they should provide more tickets than usual. Eventually, they will also get to earn more money and their customers will also be happy that they can watch the movie they want to. It’s killing two birds with one stone.

Scenario 3 [wrong & consequence]
At the popcorn stall, two children were queuing up to buy the yummy popcorn. The boy who was his turn to order now, was pointing to the stall owner what type of popcorn he wants. The girl queuing behind him was stretching out her hand to grab the boy’s wallet which was in the back pocket. She was smiling evilly, showing out all her teeth. A passer-by saw it and looked shocked.

In my opinion, I think that the passer-by should stop the girl from stealing the wallet and tell her the consequences she will have if she continues doing it. The passer-by should let her parents know about it by asking the girl for their contact number. If the girl continues doing this and nobody stops her, she will think that it is fun as she is still young and do not know that it is wrong. When she grows up, she will still continue doing this as maybe, it is already a habit to do so. Stealing at a young age will lead to many troubles in life.

Conclusion
To conclude, cinemas are a good place to let our hair down. We may even learn things from a movie. Watching comedies are good for as laughing is good for our health emotionally.

Oral-swimming complex

Introduction
This picture depicts a scene at a swimming complex. There are many people, perhaps, it is a public holiday. Most of them were clad in their swimming costumes. Personally, I think that swimming is a good form of exercise as it exercises the whole body. Furthermore, I think that everyone should learn how to swim not just because of the fact that it is a good exercise, but it is important as it can save lives when one is in danger, drowning.

Scenario 1 [normal]
Two boys are playing with a ball in the pool. They are throwing to each other happily. Perhaps, they are friends or even classmates. However, I think that they should go to a corner of the pool where there is lesser people so that they will not disturb the other swimmers. Also, that will prevent accidents such as others got hit by the ball.

Moving on, both of them are putting on a float to keep them afloat on the water. Personally, I think that they are putting on the floats not because of the reason that they do not know how to swim. If they really do not know how to swim, they will not have the courage to step into the adult pool. In my opinion, I think they had their floats put on for safety precautions. To me, what they did was actually good as it will lower the chances of a happy event to becoming a tragedy.

It is good for them to company each other as they can help one another when something happens. I suggest that they can chat while playing so as to foster their relationship as friends.

Scenario 2 [normal?]
Beside them, a teenager is swimming. He seems to be struggling a little in the water. Perhaps, he is having a leg cramp or was too exhausted after swimming for a long time.

He was lucky that he was near the side of the pool so that he could hold the side for support. Personally, I think that it would be great if he had company the next time he comes for a swim.

Scenario 3 [normal]
Moving on, a lady with long silky hair is swimming behind him. I can see that she is enjoying her swim. Perhaps, she just knock off from work and came for a swim to let her hair down after a long day of work. Personally, I think that she is a good role model for all to emulate as nowadays, most of us neglect our health as we are too busy with our work that we did not take time out to exercise. Hence, we will fall ill easily. I admire her ability to manage her time well that she can cope with her work and also have time to exercise.

Scenario 4 [wrong & consequence]
A girl with two ponytails is running at the side of the adult pool and accidentally hit the boy’s leg who is standing at the edge of the pool without knowing it. The boy was very scared as he knew that he will fall into the pool. It seems that this is the first time he is learning to swim. A worried looking woman saw that he was falling and immediately went to hold him. Perhaps, the lady is the boy’s mother.

It was very dangerous for the girl to run at the swimming complex as most of the time, the floor would be very wet. If she continues doing this, she might knock others down, causing them to fall and get hurt. The situation would be even more serious if she knocks down the elderly as their bones are very weak and they may even be in a crippled or even pass away. On the other hand, the girl might also hurt herself if she slips and fall. She may even land in the hospital in a coma if she hurt her head.

Furthermore, if children who are learning to swim for the first time got hit by her and fall into the water, they might have phobia swimming in the future.

In addition, if her parents were around, they should take her in hand and do not let her run about. They should also explain the right, wrong and consequences to her before coming to the swimming complex.

Conclusion
To conclude, swimming is a good form of sports as it is an overall exercise. People should also spend time to exercise as money cannot buy health. We must also abide the rules there as safety always comes first.
