Omg, Singapore got 3-4 confirm case of H1N1. Sian. Haix, i dont want Singapore to have any case sial. Hope it doesnt increase.

Today is the start of the hols lerh for me cos no need go meet teacher. First day quite sian lerh. Whole day either com-ing or sms-ing. Bleh. I think i become com addict liao sial. Everyday use com de, not tv anymore. Lols. Seriously nothing to post about..

Oh yah, 1Fers, if you didnt know, got Music homework on litespeed lerh. Since i've got nothing to do, i'll just post the assignment up here for those who cant login to the elearn portal like Peisi. LOL.

Homework: Song analysis and preparation for song composition in term 3

Do the following steps:

1) Choose any familiar or favourite song which has lyrics. What is the title of this song?
Who sang this song? Where does the song appear? (e.g. in a musical, song album, movie.....)

2) Listen carefully and describe your feelings about the lyrics and the music.
You can comment on what you think the musician is trying to communicate with his or her audience, what kind of people can relate to it and why.

3) Describe how the music or tune supports the lyrics of the song.

4) Describe any similar or repeated tune within the song.

5) Please provide the lyrics of this song for my reference when you describe the song and the lyrics.

6) Print a copy of your answers and bring to school for the first music lesson for group work discussion when school reopens in Semester 3.

7) Please also bring your MP3 format of the song or CD, if any, so you can play it in class and share with your friends!


Oh yah, dont forget to purchase the homec textbooks and workbooks for term 3 when school reopens if you havent buy, like me. Lol.
